James Rodriguez took this documentary photo of the former head of state Efrain Rios Montt. This is a portrait. James Placed the main character in middle of the photo. Behind him is the crowd that take place of the bottom half of the picture. The top half of the photo is the roof. The top and bottom part are equally divided by the line of people. The clean white roof and the colorful crowd makes a huge contrast. The camera angle is up, it is a heroic view, makes the character looks strong and bigger. This is ironic, because this former head of state is accused for genocide. The light and shadow on the face also play an important role. It shows some personality of the this person.
