This photograph depicts a man, hunched over, on a street in Dingle, Ireland. It’s use of contrasting shadows in combination of a linear, leading lines to help the focal point of the photograph lead your eyes to the man. Even the lines of his cane and the pipes around him, frame him despite his hunched back giving him a smaller stature. What drew me to this image was the simplicity of a mostly plain background with just one person/object to focus my eye on. The hunched-ness of his back gives intrigue to why he is hunched and how he continues to move like that. There’s almost a narrative to this photo which is why I chose it.

Good description of the “linear, leading lines” and framing along with a suggestion of narrative.
