These various sources provide inspiring insight for our upcoming photography book assignment. I felt that these series’ captured a moment in time and provided a great example of “a picture is worth a thousand words” the image of the Japanese being incarcerated were deep and meaningful. As I recently discussed with Professor Chupa, I believe these series have encouraged me to take an approach that captures the essence of a time and place. The twist that will make it unique to my own will be its emphasis on nature and its everlasting effect on the world as we know it. I will be capturing the Lehigh community and the city of Bethlehem from the perspective of raw nature and the wilderness it brings with it.
What are your reactions to each of these series?
