The subjects of this image is hard to distinguish at first. However, while looking at other images from the same collection, I realized it is a documentary photo taken at oil wells. Then it became clear that the dotted vague pattern on the left might be spraying oil from a oil well near the walking fire fighter. I like this image because of the great contrast created by the immense fire and the spraying oil at the scene. Also, the back view of the walking person added a sense of solemnity to the image. The only weird part of it is the areas around the person is somehow brightened. It would be awesome if that’s what the original shoot looks like.

Robert Capa is great at shooting war photographs. The picture I chose is the one that depicts an ace pilot sitting in the cockpit in Tunisia. Capa capture the facial expression of the pilot well enough to show the seriousness of the moment of the shoot. Another part that I like of this image is the Nazi signs on the side of the image revealed more information of the stories behind the picture, which might implying that this plane is a trophy that the army got by defeating the Nazi air force.
