Taken by Arthur Rothstein, who was an active photographer between the years of 1915-1985, this shot was taken in 1968 of Nelson Rockefeller, a presidential candidate at the time. A direct descendant of John D. Rockefeller, it’s always interesting to see more business like men run for office in our democratic system. While he wound up only being the Vice President, it’s still odd seeing a name associated with capitalism run for office.
