Arthur Rothstein took this photograph of the cemetery dedicated to those that died in World War II. This photograph was taken in 1940 and holds great value to United States history. Rothstein took the photograph from an angle that allows the full screen to be filled by these graves. They seem like they are never-ending. It brings to light not only how many lives were lost in the war, but how many families and friends were affected, for us to live in the country we do today.
