This photo was taken on the streets of Southside Bethlehem, PA on one of the first days of spring. I took this photo with the intention of capturing the blue sky against the red paint on the building. When editing this photo, I used techniques we learned earlier in class to remove an electrical wire that was intersecting the building.

This photo was also taken on the Southside of Bethlehem. The fire station neighbors this mural and I wanted to capture how the colors could be brought out in the photograph. I was pleased that the sky was clear this day as the blue sky complemented the blue in the mural and the sign.

I captured this photo as I walked by a man playing the guitar on one of the first days of spring. The snow in the back adds nice contrast to the composition and I enjoy how the black and white looks on this photograph.
Good overall exposures. You might try to lift the shadows slightly in the figure for “Sounds in the Streets.”
I really like the strong saturation in the first two images, they really make Bethlehem shine in the way it deserves to. 🙂
