The way it is spread to reminds me of the motion of water which is something we recently discussed in class. The contrast between the lightest parts of her hair and the darkest parts is what drew me to this image as well. I feel the contrast aids in the “wave” like display the hair gives off. This image is relevant today to a digital artist because by observing this notion of texture, contrast, and motion, digital artists can replicate these elements in their own work.
