I chose the image “Sydney Apple Store Miniature” because I thought it was a really successful tilt-shift miniature photograph. While the subject material is already miniature, shooting the image from above, a very high angle, creates the illusion that the people in the store are smaller than they are. This image was not taken with a camera equipped with a tilt-shift lens; instead a fake tilt shift effect was applied to a “3xp HDR”.
