I chose a city portrait photography taken by Alfred Stieglitz. Since it is a film picture, many details are lacking. However, the highlight and shadow of the buildings are outlined beautifully. At the time of this image shoot, the sun should be at a relatively low angle that makes one side of the buildings completely dark while the roofs are not. Besides, the rigidness of the industrial structures made a great contrast with the smoke in the air. The smoke was blowed towards the direction of the sun, leading the upper right corner of this picture to be more blurred and more bright.
