Hi everyone! My name is Sara Jewel, I’m a sophomore majoring in graphic design. I’m from Arlington, VA, only 10 minutes outside of D.C. but I’m living off campus this semester. I’m taking Digital Photography because it is an elective I can put towards my major, but also because I took photo in high school where I did both digital and actually learned to develop film and I’d love to continue learning more about photography. I’ve already taken a few studio courses at Lehigh and will also be doing painting this semester! Really looking forward to this class!

Is that the large scale self-portrait Drawing 1? Portraiture might be an interesting direction for you when we get to the book assignment. It is great that you have also had film experience to add to the digital background.
