I really really loved how Then They Came for Me had all the images follow the same cohesive pattern of the black and white imagery, the black boarders, and even the white text written on top. I’m a design major and really enjoy the art classes that I’m in and so I think adding little doodles or notes on top of the images I take via photoshop or illustrator could be a cool idea. otherwise I’d like to make my book flow as best as possible. Obviously, I don’t know the content yet but I think grouping the pages by framing or the coloring could be a really interesting idea.

Thee theme was the primary unifying element. But black and white does pull the images together as well. Now that you have the conversion techniques, you could work in black and white once you have selected a theme.
