This work is made by Wang Qingsong, a Chinese painter turned photographer. This whole photo is filled by hand drawn poster. This is a grand sight that we won’t usually see in daily life. The collection of this whole wall of handmade posters is presenting Wang’s memories from the special time the Cultural Revolution. My interpretation of this work is that the artist is trying to tell that the Cultural revolution left a deep mark in his life. The huge space might symbolize the world he was in, full of things about Cultural Revolution.
