Techniques to Avoid Too Much Light When Using Long Shutter Speeds:
- Shoot in Full Manual or Shutter Priority Mode
- Smaller Apertures — Decreasing aperture to one stop decreases size of shutter opening by 50%
- Decrease ISO — Low numbers for ISO allows for longer shutter speeds
- Use a ND Filter
