One example from the artist I chose to describe and interpret is the piece “DaVinci’s Wings”
This photograph is a staged photo by Robert and Shauna ParkeHarrison. It depicts a man in black and white with wings mounted on his back. He stands above the ground on a dead tree. To me, this photo gives a message of lonely dreams. This man wants to fly but cannot, and his surroundings are what is holding him down. The photographs from Robert and Shauna tell stories of human loss and struggle. The staging of this photo defiantly does this.
