Listening to the Earth is a black and white photograph with a man in a black suit who seems to be tying down clouds onto the Earth on a hill. The man is accomplishing the impossible by tying down clouds to the Earth. I interpreted the composition of this photo as a dream world. The man is tying down the clouds because he wants to control the skies, something that is impossible to do. The dream is alluding to people wanting to have control in every aspect of their lives.
