I chose this portrait and felt it was particularly effective due to its ability to combine abstract imagery with real life. You can see deep into the man’s eyes while also being able to appreciate the effects that have been done to his face. The title, “In a Cracked Mirror”, describes the disconnection of the man’s face on the right side of the picture. Its both serious and creative at the same time.

  1. He captured the reflection in the cracked mirror without any additional distracting reflections which makes it quite a technical achievement too.
