Nicolas successfully makes this photograph look like a miniature stadium because of the blurred effect around the focus. The angle onto the stadium is perfect as it peers into it from above, with the whole field in view. It makes the viewer seem like they are looking down on something small. The crowd is like a sea of red because the school’s colors are red and white. The color is very bright which contributes to the idea that it is an illusion. The people look like dots of color that add to the way the whole stadium looks so tiny. The blurred effect around the stadium hide the surrounding buildings makes the viewer change their perspective on the object. The long depth of field also adds to the illusion.
