Describe the strengths in the composition and how this approach might inspire your work with montage.

I really like these montages and I think that they present a lot of strengths in composition. Although these photos appear to be blurred and foggy, Siatkowski does well with using light to highlight focal points. The values in these photographs are nicely placed and draw the viewer’s eyes in between the trees or to the man in the middle.

This approach might inspire my work because it introduces a more unique way of montaging. My interpretations of montage were crisp lines and more of a collage effect. I think these techniques inspire a more cohesive way of montaging and interesting use of color and light.
