I love this! You created really nice shadows under each piece of the swirl that works really well to create dimension between them. The background becomes a little busy in some spots where there isn’t as much contrast like the top of the center cupcake! Moving through the photograph, watching the cupcake be created is so fun and was such a great idea.
Good concept and successive stages of cupcake assembly and baking move effectively from one to the next. A cropped square format might have been better with all the spatulas in the shot; otherwise on the whole, this works well.
This is just such a fantastic image and makes so much sense why you’ve continued photographing your creations, I really enjoy when an artist finds their niche and continues to capture it, yet interprets the assignment as needed.
